More than 20 senior citizens at the Littleton Life Care Center had an evening of learning, entertainment, and hands on experience with sport stacking with Speed Stacks. | ||||||

As a “Community Connection” project, the Speed Stacks Demonstration Team donated their time to show their stacking skills — to teach, and encourage the seniors.
|

“I did stacking - with both hands!” Demonstration Team members were assigned tables and became personal coaches for each senior participant. The senior ages ranged from 70-95 years. |
||||

“This was so much fun, and I did it!” Smiles of joy etched on each face as 99% of all the Senior Stackers manipulated and stacked the Speed Stacks into a 3-stack and eventually completed a 3-3-3 sequence finsihing with a 6-stack. |

Speed Stacks, Inc. donated sets of Speed Stacks to the Littleton Life Care Center. Nicole Purser, Recreation Therapist, will use the Speed Stacks in therapy sessions with the seniors who display a variety of physical disabilities that ranged from the use of only one arm due to stroke, arthritic conditions, and neuro-muscular debilitating diseases, as well as hearing impairments. “I can see this being very useful and good for our patrons,” Ms Purser said. |
