ENTRY
DIVISIONS: Our contests are for all and are judged by dividing entries into four categories by age: Through age 9: An Entry needs be about 100 of your own words. Only one entry per person per contest is allowed. Age 10-12: An Entry needs be between 100 to 300 of your own words. Only one entry per person per contest is allowed. Age 13-17: An Entry needs be between 100 to 300 of your own words. Only one entry per person per contest is allowed. Over 18: An Entry needs be between 100 to 1000 of your own words. Only one entry per person per contest is allowed.
At the end of each contest, one grand prize and four runner-up prizes will be awarded for the best submission. |

GUIDELINES
for kids submitting stories: Entries, with between 100-300 words, can be either in the form of a story or poem and may only be about you and the sport of stacking. Stories must be in the writer's own words and should relay personal experiences. Although we supply the photograph in a Caption Contest, the words should be originally yours. Entries are judged on:
Consideration is given also to the age of the writer. . . the same piece that is considered "prize worthy" from a 7-year old, would not necessarily be considered "prize-worthy" if submitted by an 11-year old. |

HOW do you send your stories and poems to us? Easy!! Write your story or poem on your computer. Next, come to the Speed Stacks web site and fill out the "Send in your story" form and copy & paste your writing into the text box provided for your story entry. Click on the "Send It In" button and your story will come to us. Our submission form asks for your first and last name, your age, your school (if applicable), your address, phone number and e-mail. Only your First Name, School, City and Age will be published. Other contact information will not be published and is used only by Speed Stacks, Inc. in contacting you or awarding a prize. Please, one entry per person and be sure to send original works only. |

HOW
is the winner selected? Submitting a story does not guarantee winning or that it will be released on the web site. A story can remain on the web site for an indefinite period of time and be re-used at a later date. |

| * | Speed Stacks reserves the right not to award a prize in any category(*), if there are insufficient entries in any category, or if the quality of submissions in any category is judged to be unacceptable. Unless otherwise noted as acceptable on an individual contest, Speed Stacks accepts one entry per person, per contest. Multiple duplicate entries per person per contest are not in the spirit of the contests and may result in disqualification of that entrant. Speed Stacks also reserves the right to edit the work submitted in the contest and to present it on this web site in a form and manner that it deems appropriate, without consultation with the author(s).
