  Where do I start?  
  What determines my results?

Our search forms start with a label and a field.

 

Example:
First Name (the label)
(the field)

The label tells you what kind of info you can search this field with.
  Type in the info you are looking for into the field.   Example:
First Name
       
Our search forms usually have a number of fields into which you can enter info you are looking for.

Each search form has a "Submit" button.

What determines my results?

The number of fields you fill in determines how specific the search results will be.

 
Example:
First Name   Last Name
 
Age   School
 
      The search results would display any 12-year-olds named Susan.

City   State
 
      The search results would display any entry from Colorado.
 
     
 
  Displaying the results of your search.  
Results:

    Colorado
      Results are often displayed in another area or region of the page. Use your scroll bar to move down the page until you see a section marked RESULTS.
       
  Using First, Previous, Next, and Last   Any time your search returns multiple records, an additional set of "links" appears at the bottom of your results.
  These links help you access information when there are multiple results (records).  
First Previous Next Last
       
First - brings up the first record.
Previous - brings up the prior record.
Next - brings up the next record.
