Fox
was the overall winner in the Cycle stack.
Emilys previous world record of 2.72 seconds in the 3-6-3
stack stayed intact, however she placed 3rd in this years
competition in that event.
After
taking 3rd in the 3-6-3, I was determined to come back in the Cycle,
Emily said. My first run was really slow, but I hit a 7.5
on my second run, so I knew I had beat the record. On my third try
I went all out and did it in 7.43 seconds. Thats my best ever!
Emilys
stacking has served her well on the basketball court. As a freshman
she was a starting Varsity player for ThunderRidge High School,
which was ranked 4th in Colorado and made it to the semi-finals
in the State 5A playoffs. Emily attributes her strong left- and
right-hand ball-handling skills and quickness as a point guard directly
to stacking.
