ESPN sport stacking special on tap for August 23rd. Mark your calendar for Wednesday, August 23rd, 2:00 pm EST and set your channel to ESPN.

A one-hour special on the 2006 WSSA World Sport Stacking Championships will fill television screens across the country with the faces and excitement of this premier sport stacking event. Check your local listings for the time in your area.

Speed Stacks an "ace" at Wimbledon.
Centre Court wasn’t the only place where quickness, dexterity and concentration came into play at this year’s Wimbledon Championships.

Great Britain sport stacking champ Kate Parker was one of many sport stackers to wow the Wimbledon crowds at the Play Tennis Zone, an area of the Grand Slam event that offers tennis and other fun skill activities for children ages 4 to 18 . As you can imagine, the response to sport stacking by the crowds and the Lawn Tennis Association was a real “smash hit”!

Sport stacking generates media frenzy
It’s been an active summer for Speed Stacks in the media. It started in June with a full-length and front-page feature in the Life section of USA Today.

Then the calls started coming in: Live with Regis & Kelly, Good Morning America, CBS Early Show, Fox & Friends, Reader’s Digest, Girl’s Life, Good Housekeeping, the new Rachel Ray show and of course, the ongoing production of the ESPN one-hour special set to air August 21 st.

Beginning in August, consumers can purchase a Speed Stacks StackPack at such stores as Wal-Mart, Toys 'R Us, Kmart and Target to name a few. The StackPack includes a set of Speed Stacks with sport carrying bag, a StackMat and an instructional DVD and has a suggested retail price of $39.99. Beginning in August, catch our very first Speed Stacks commercials airing on several prominent television networks. Be prepared to see some fast stacking! The retail effort has been made possible through a partnership between Speed Stacks, Inc. and Play Along, a division of JAKKS Pacific. Play Along will focus its efforts on the retail market while Speed Stacks, Inc. will stay strong in its course of developing sport stacking programs and providing specialty sport stacking products designed for schools, churches, camps and other educational institutions.

New to the site is information regarding the retail launch of Speed Stacks while still retaining lots of valuable information for instructors, parents and students. With the retail initiative being handled by Play Along, it allows the staff at Speed Stacks, Inc. to do what we do best: Work with teachers, instructors and parents on how to start and maintain successful sport stacking programs.
