| |
There
are basic requirements to having a Satellite Demo Team. You
would need to agree to the following: |

|
| |
The
coach needs
to... |
| |
Include
a photo of your team, including you (the
coach). |
| |
|
| |
Write
a paragraph about your team (i.e. describing
your
current program and your Demo Team plans). |
| |
|
| |
Be
willing to dedicate time to train demo team,
and
putting together an assembly
format. |
| |
|
| |
Agree
to make every effort to attend and perform
at
events when requested
by Speed Stacks or
by local organizations. |
| |
|
| |
Agree
to seek out performance possibilities by
contacting
local schools and
organizations. |
| |
|
| |
Willing
to travel during school hours, when
necessary. |
| |
|
| |
Agree
to send end-of-year recap to Speed Stacks. |
| |
|
| |
Demo
Team members need to... |
| |
Know
how to stack properly and be fast stackers.
(Note:
Time guidelines are subjective, depending on
age and
ability
of stacker but generally speaking, stackers should be able
to
stack a 3-6-3 in 7 seconds or under; and a cycle stack in 20
seconds
or under). |

| |
Know
how to teach others to stack properly |
| |
|
| |
Appear
neat and clean with polite behavior when
representing Speed Stacks. |
| |
|
| |
Know
all routines and be prepared for all
performances. |
| |
|
| |
Keep
grades up. Maintain at least a C average,
which
will allow you as students to
participate in
this extra-curricular
activity during school hours on
occasion. |
| |
|
| |
Be
willing
to perform at school assemblies, teacher
workshops,
state conferences, and other
presentations
at least 3 times a year, possibly
during
and after school hours, and on weekends. |
| |
|
| |
Complete a permission slip and have it signed
by
parents every year. |
| |
|
 |
| |
Speed
Stacks will help provide you with many of the resources you need
to make these opportunities happen. Speed
Stacks will provide your team with: |

Stacks Demo Team Training Video (although
you
may use our routines if you like. We do encourage you
to create and use your own routines, too). |

Stacks music (although you
may use our
music if you like, we encourage you to use
music
that
your team selects, too).

Speed
Stacks T-shirts - we will supply the team
with up to 20 t-shirts. Individuals
will check these
out to wear and share while they are performing
(more
about our T-Shirts). |

Discount
pricing of 50% off on all Speed Stacks
products for the Demo Team
members (including
the coach), when the
product(s) is for the demo
team
use only. The coach must place the order. |

Yearly
loan of two Tournament Displays and up to
10
StackMats. (More about Tournament Displays and StackMats ). |
| |
|
| |
Reimbursement
of mileage at the IRS rate while
traveling
away from your school (upon request,
and
after completing an expense report). |

| |
Reimbursement
for a substitute teacher (with prior
approval from Speed
Stacks). |
| |
|
| |
There
are provisions for reimbursement for over-
night
stays when Speed
Stacks requests your
attendance
at an event. |

Speed
Stacks will not provide: |

Any
form of insurance, (i.e. personal or auto). |
