On Wednesday 13th January 2004, Speed Stacks visited Thames View Junior School in Barking, Essex. We were invited down by the Head Teacher Miss Shipley, who had read about Speed Stacks and was interested in finding out more about sport stacking first-hand. Speed Stacks arranged to do an assembly, which was very well received, followed by a workshop. The workshop was great fun for the students and their teachers. |

The children and teachers present were taught to do 3-3-3 and 3-6-3 stacking sequences. What
does stacking do? This ability translates into many other areas of a person's life (playing other sports, musical instruments, using a computer keyboard and more). |
|||
Who is
stacking for? Sport stacking is a cost-effective program for large groups of students. Competition in team events builds teamwork. Working together can be great fun too. |
