William Polly and William Orrell set a new Doubles world record with a time of 5.953 seconds on April 12, 2015, returning the coveted record back to Team USA. Day two of the 2015 WSSA World Sport Stacking Championships proved to be a productive day for the namesake duo as they laid hands on the record previously held by Team Germany’s Son Nguyen and Nicolas Werner at 6.209 seconds. The unprecedented feat of an under-six second Doubles attempt helped land the pair a gold medal finish, crowning them as the overall Doubles world champions in Montreal.
